介紹繪本名著 The Very Hungry Caterpillar

先不讓小朋友急著翻書, 我找到youtube上一個很棒的影音檔, 讓小朋友先聽一聽故事的發展

發下繪本後, 使出渾身解數來講解囉~

其實繪本本身也是很有學問的, 要小朋友發揮想像力理解繪圖者的用意, 像是作者用的是"eat through"而不是單純的"eat", 和貫穿全文的小洞有什麼關聯? 以下是我會問的問題, 當然, 問完要加入中文提醒.

What did the caterpillar eat throgh?

How many kinds of food did the caterpillar eat through?

Is it okay to eat so many kinds of food?  Did he feel sick?  Why?

Will you try it?

How does the caterpillar change?

Do you want to be a caterpillar? Why or why not?

Is there something with the holes?

What colors are the food?

最後再放上作者Eric Carle自己錄製的聲音檔讓小朋友reinforce.(隨書附贈CD)  雖然作者生動演譯, 但是全英的過程一定會有部分學生分心, 我會適時停在某部份提問或提醒
